Okay, another book...

The Elite (author: Kiera Cass) is the sequel to The Selection, which is a cross between The Princess and The Pea, and the Hunger Games. Weird, huh? Take a forbidden love, a breakup (with aforementioned forbidden love) and throw the girl into the Palace to compete with other girls higher in society than her for the Prince's heart (America is the girl, Maxon: the prince). That spells out disaster, especially when America falls for Maxon. EEEP!!! Here are the covers of the two books in the series, I can't wait for the third. (Another stinkin' loud  EEEP!!!!!!)
