Okay, a couple books......... (I know, so not me!) I loved this book soooooooo much! It follows Alyss Heart through her journey to defeat her Aunt Redd and take back her kingdom. I would rate it 9/10, taking off that one point because it was a little dark.
And now........ Awesome pics!!! (From the series)
This is the Heart Family, before Alyss, as in, it's her mom and aunt, and grandparents
I am SAD. My best friend, Acy, left to go to Honduras for a while, and let's just say, the sky (which is definitely NOT blue) matches my mood. When I'm talking about Acy, the word (phrase...?) "best friend" does not even BEGIN to describe our bond. A more accurate term, or a term that would do more justice, would be something more like... SISTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I meant every one of those exclamation points!!!! (and the ones over there too. Let's just say that every exclamation point is, well, I don't know... TRUE.) Is it normal to feel this bad??? I sure hope not! Then I, of all people, would be classified as *shudder shaking entire body* NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The N Word!!!! But anyway, I suppose this post is 40% adrenaline, 50% fear (Honduras has the highest murder rate in the WORLD, people!!) and about 20% jealousy (Yes, I do know that it adds up to 110%, THAT'S HOW BAD I FEEL!!!!!) But anyway, I need to wrap this up. DUTY CALLS!! *salute and snicker) Missing anyone? Katilicious (also known as Kat)
The Elite (author: Kiera Cass) is the sequel to The Selection, which is a cross between The Princess and The Pea, and the Hunger Games. Weird, huh? Take a forbidden love, a breakup (with aforementioned forbidden love) and throw the girl into the Palace to compete with other girls higher in society than her for the Prince's heart (America is the girl, Maxon: the prince). That spells out disaster, especially when America falls for Maxon. EEEP!!! Here are the covers of the two books in the series, I can't wait for the third. (Another stinkin' loud EEEP!!!!!!) ^ Plus, they have a ^ novella, called "The Prince" available only by e-book ^. I haven't read it yet, but I really (yes, that is in italics) want to. Romance and forbidden love, Kat
